About Us

A Memory Boomerang Through the Pages.

A breeze through the Scriptures, the Hebrew Tanakh, through the lens of the chosen characters to make sure we retain as much of the word in the mini-computer of our mind.

Meet BIBI

Bibi keeps the Torah and isn't a promoter of the waterless and directionless approach to the Hebrew Tanakh. She tries to read and remember the Torah on days she isn't out there working on her commission to eradicate the lawless troublemakers. (2 Kings 2:23-24)

THE PLAN

What are the SCRIPTURES?

Joel

To a not-so-scholarly mind like mine it is:

A symphony of words I try to harmonize with to one day stop singing flat secular chants, and somehow dig deeper, slamming the truth on my mind and have truth flow through my veins.

Anisha

To me, a mind that likes to research:

A story that speaks about a God beyond human understanding through the leaves of a journey, letters and accounts of a chosen people Israel, all heading in the direction of an ultimate plan for redemption and undying glory for the ones who leave the paradigms of the world, the rip-off religions, all to obey the call and follow after the One God who made all.

The Highway to Freedom.

An eclectic mix of inspiration from this book (The Tanakh) keeps us going with the fuel to undertake all uphill challenges that come our way. The Torah is a goldmine of wisdom and the umbilical cord, in connecting to the Creator Most High. Without nourishment and staying connected the spiritual transition is far from taking place, even if you rote learn or try to plunder the pearls from it.

There's a code that King David plainly displays in his character traits. Have a heart for the Most High, never be weaned from His magnificent word in the Hebrew Scriptures, embark on a journey of innocence by plainly keeping Torah in this dark & grim world. Keep looking for the silver lining to the cloud, eventually hoping for an entire silver cloud, which would be the return of the promised Messiah and Elohim's rule in Zion, accomplished with the ingathering of the exiles.

If you're a dummy reader like me (Joel) or a researcher like Anisha, it doesn't matter. I have found that if I incrementally read and emote with the characters in the Tanakh, with their unique weaknesses, or with their steadfast strengths, my picturesque mind begins to soak in the good character traits from the protagonist in one of the 24 books.

Some days I am a brave little Joshua, bringing the walls of Jericho down on the enemies of Israel and some days I am running from my callings like a mini angry Jonah.

In my lack-lustrous inefficiency and guilt of not being able to be an avid reader as it doesn't come naturally to me, I decided to simply adopt the TORAH HUG strategy, wherein I make it a point to read the books in the Torah by constantly writing articles about each character, to have an associative emotion and a groove to resonate with each character.

The Hebrew Scriptures is about the Father, The Almighty, The Ultimate God, The Only God. But it's also about the instruments He's chosen for specific purposes as a Blueprint to know what part of our hearts we must consciously prune if we want to have remotely anything to do with praising Him.

If you praise Him, praise Him in His way, not in the way that you pompously think the King of Glory must be praised.

Introducing a new concept of learning and retaining knowledge, labeled -

The Memory Boomerang.

This is our attempt at a memory map, like a Memory Boomerang, where the potential black hole of our mind doesn't take in Scripture and push it off to oblivion.

But rather the Memory Boomerang must help us efficiently retain maximum spiritual and Scriptural data from the Tanakh.

We’ll be dividing these in 4 segments for ease of learning:

Fading in (Drumroll)

The Conventionals

The Heroes on whose stories we’ve grown up listening. The ones who we are constantly in awe of and the ones we look up to.

The Unconventionals

The not-so-popular characters whose stories are not sung out loud, yet have a lot of substance to glean from if paid attention to.

The Grims

Where we spotlight the dark chauffeurs of the pages taking darker turns for the workers of Light.

The OG Feasts / Uncategorized

Back to the roots to embark upon a journey of knowing and observing the holidays of the Creator. And topics that are important concepts, but do not fit into any of the categories above.

Prime Objectives

1. Basking in the Memory Boomerang Strategy, to hit a homerun in expanding our Scriptural horizons, no matter how slow in Scripture absorption you think you are.

2. Consciously look to metaphorically HUG the Torah, loving and innocently having a childlike heart towards the Most High and His ways, just like Bibi the Bear, our friendly Torah Hug study partner.

Parting statement.

A creative individual's role is not being acclaimed for his own creativity. But being known for the creation He was chosen by the Most High to create.

We are nothing but specs of dust to the Most High, let's make it worth His effort for creating us and not regretting His meticulous and perfect work, as in the days of Noah.

Torah Hug

A Torah Hug

Not a book under the rug

Zealously smitten by understanding

Creatively charged by the Torah bug

A creative war of tug

Between the evil inclination and I

Unravel your inclination to Obey

New Truths on the market do not Buy

Manna from the Book

All characters covered in colorful lights

An approach of a Bear Torah Hug

Not argumentative costumed fights.
