The Aftermath

The phrase "Never Give Up" is a metaphor of hope in the face of hopelessness, renewal in the midst of nothingness and unparalleled victory over their most malevolent adversaries.

Egypt's Aftermath - By Joel Zecharyah

Adversarial foes — the ones that have to go down for the autonomous ones to depart in greatness and wealth and under the hand of the Creator riding on the wings of the freedom.

Sometimes, it’s too late to make restitution. The goons camped on you are too deep into the path they chose. From here, merely reestablishing you from being a slave to a first-class citizen won't make the cut. But the axe of vengeance would cut the taproot that they gloated upon. The whole grown tree had to come thudding down for the free ones to take root in their promised pastures, where the eyes of the Creator are affixed. Sometimes, it’s just Life for Life.

Egypt's Aftermath
// poetry

Tyrants exist,
Then they cease.
Blindsided & the lofty-hearted
Brought down to 3 knees.

Before heaven
The mightiest tremor in fear
What shall a man pay for his life?
Death spears him down like a deer.

In a mortal cloak of my body
My spirit makes room to depart
Nothing but a chronological development
Ends with the final beat in a heart.

To the inspired heart
There exists a hope divine
The worldy path has a crowded gate,
The autonomous path of integrity has never seen a line.
