Mr. & Mrs. CAN

I would like you to focus on this ONE word as you read through this:

Yearnings

Growing up I was able to draw out of different areas totally unrelated and associate it to another area of expertise. Applying the same rules of growing one area, harnessing fundamentals from another.

For instance, I used the fundamentals of teamwork, showmanship and grit from football and applied the same to business and thus started my own dessert store called Snow in a Bowl, wherein I started a hybrid store with the restaurant space on the lower level and an e-gaming arena on the upper deck.

For me business is art, concepts are abstract, I can see concepts ready to be harnessed wherever I go.

Now you may think, I tried to grow my existing business, but failed.

Politely bursting your bubble, post many opportunities to expand locally, I charted a rather different path gifted to me by my Creator Most High. I wanted to reconnect with the God of my ancestors, the God of Israel during the covid break during which I went on an expedition across the country, living in close to 30 hotels, ranging from 3, 4 and 5-star banners, not limited to the above.

I took this course to find myself in my Maker, the Most High God of Israel, from the Tanakh, whose instructions I try to study with zeal and serve him. This pursuit of Wisdom which was a spiritual and higher thought to me totally assisted me to chart out many concepts that I have jotted down during this pursuit, other than the nascent business model I once started out with.

Living in a diverse range of places helped me in my spiritual growth alongside giving me an immersive look and feel of the hospitality industry as a whole. I visited all the top malls and hotels in the cities of Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Delhi and Gurgaon, basically seeing all that the hospitality industry has to offer.

Finding it repetitive and monotonous towards the end, learning the lack of innovation and the evils of excessive repetition of concepts, not fully harnessing the potential of the great landscape our Most High God has allowed us to occupy. My inclination to hospitality, would also be based out of the Tanakh, where our spiritual Father Abraham, focused on selfless service, as he offered what we know in our modern day - A bed and breakfast to weary traveler's who'd pass by, displaying a sense of humble and kind hospitality to strangers teaching them about the God of the Tanakh, we now know from Genesis to Malachi.

This long journey, post an international job straight out of college and a start-up ended up marking and fulfilling my first objective - A Yearning for the One Big Constant, which would be developing Wisdom in deed and Wisdom in choices, my prime choice being doing everything I undertake in life following the timeless blueprint of the Tanakh.

This very unrelated but related constant has ghosted me to compulsively and counter-intuitively write down concepts with depth of detail and alacrity in everything I do or must be done.

I'm highly emotional and emotionally strategic as I may put it. I can tap into a feeling from times past to work my way back to feeling exactly the same way through a creative staircase which would be creating a concept around it. The feeling of happiness I once felt among my family growing up, I tried to tap into the happiness I wanted to live through by giving each of my customers exactly what they want - low calorie desserts for the older folk, and desserts, ice creams and video games for the younger folk. Due to my limitations in my business budget, I had to lower my skies but yet shoot for the stars if I may put it.

This yearning, turned into a really deep learning and all my concepts are a missing puzzle piece to, if I may put it directly, a grandeur infrastructure able to accelerate the colors I envision to put into it.

All to benefit the infrastructure and attain my yearning of customer satisfaction, primarily the family unit as it encompasses all age groups there is to humankind.

Plus, it's the entire foundation of humanity:

FAMILY - the Beginning of Togetherness.

I further learnt each person has a basic yearning of togetherness, friendship and longing to catch up in a place they find special, associating their meeting to the establishment in their book of memories, and from my experience of running a month-on-month profitable business during a global economic slowdown out of a mall in Pune, India, there has been a personal harvest of the basic rules of driving this emotion among my customers.

I sometimes write poems and short write-ups to share what's on my mind and convey it using the beauty of words and let the mind of the reader interpret my thoughts as per their understanding.

Showcasing our expertise with an axiom of a character, Mr. CAN - The Concept Man.

We can unravel endless retail (food and non- food), tech solutions we’ve sketched through this expedition.

The question is, who’d like to take the plunge with us?

The infrastructure we’d delightfully serve must be highly hospitable and vibing at the same frequency as us. This will make for a phenomenal and exponential growth curve and serve the greater benefit, for you, for us, for all.

Contentment is the mission.

The adventures of Mr. CAN with his beautiful wife, Mrs. CAN.

He is a man kicked around by the daily cliché, the hustle and bustle of life. He's tired being tossed around during the week but at the end of every week he finds himself going to the mall where his eyes light up with dreams fueling him to go another week with renewed hope and cheer.

THE CIRCLE CIRCUS

A short write-up about the life of Mr. CAN, an everyman.

You learn to earn

You yearn to earn

The thought-provoking limbo of a man

The laughs you miss

The walk of bliss

The mall adventures of Mr. Can.

He gets kicked at work

By Kurt or Dirk

All he needs is a break.

He goes to the mall

Laughs with his friends

He's smiling in no time with his chicken steak

He may have not bought the expensive shirt

But he's written it in his List

Mr. CAN won't be kicked around one day

He's going to buy everything he's missed

Through the escalators he goes

It's these illusions he craves

Through the array of stores

The "same—different" path he paves

Mr. CAN thinks he 'Could'

As long as he's in the mall

Mr. CAN entered drooping,

But he walked away 10 feet tall.
